MYP Visual Arts
The basic goal of the MYP Visual Arts
is to create an appreciation for art and for the means of expression it
provides as a response within society. Students combine working with the elements and principles of design, technique and media, while
exploring art and its interdependence with other areas of study. The
subject provides an opportunity for personal, socio-cultural, and aesthetic
experience through the meaningful production and understanding of artworks.
Students develop sensitivity to the ideas and feelings expressed and communicated
through the process of preparing their artistic creation.
